Coin Slots Game Instructions

The object of the Coin Slots Game is to be the first to get rid of all of your coins

# Players 2+

  1. Each player starts out by placing 8-12 coins in front of them on the table. A lower number of coins makes for a quicker game.

  2. Determine who goes first by each player rolling the single die cube. Highest number goes first; then play proceeds in a clockwise direction.

  3. The player rolls the die and must put a coin in the slot corresponding to the number shown on the die. A player must make at least one roll per turn.

  4. If a player rolls a slot that already contains a coin they must collect all the coins on the board and add them to their pile. Play then moves to the next player.

  5. A player can continue to roll and place coins in the appropriate slots and hope to not roll an occupied slot while doing so. Rule 6 explains why you might want to keep rolling (if you are feeling lucky).

  6. At any point after the mandatory roll a player may pass the box and die to the next person. This could be a good strategy if there are coins in multiple slots and you play the odds the next person rolls an occupied slot and is forced to take all the coins on the board. Be careful as this can backfire if the player gets lucky with their roll and the board comes back to you even more full!

  7. When a player rolls a six they get to drop a coin from their coin pile into the six slot and out of play. That player has the option to roll again or immediately pass to the next person. Like before, they can take one roll, or multiple, hoping to not land on an occupied slot before passing.

  8. As soon as a player has no coins on the table the game stops and they are declared the winner for all of eternity.

A fun way to wager on the game is to put a prize or a sum of money inside the box prior to the game starting. The winner would then be awarded what was placed in the box.
